I use this journal to keep in touch with irl friends, online friends, to make new friends, follow certain interests and fandoms, and Sims stories, mostly legacies.

I go by many things, but call me Shirina.

Some words that describe me are poetic, sarcastic, friendly, funny, funky, quirky, witty, artsy, edgy, eclectic, eccentric, interesting, original, creative, ambitious, thoughtful, outspoken, genuine, intelligent, kind, unique, affectionate, cunning, passive, and apathetic, among others.

Music is one of the most important things in my life. I enjoy lots of genres such as (in no particular order) indie, indie rock, rock, piano rock, alternative, emo, dance, new rave, powerpop, jazz, electronica, folktronica, folk, techno, classical, disco, experimental, 80's music, a bit of industrial, a bit of ska, a bit of reggae, a bit of country, a bit of hard rock and metal, and more.

My dream is to be a semi-successful professional musician, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter, living in a lovely flat in North London or Northern England.

I'm a massive Anglophile. My favorite T.V. shows, musicians, and celebrities are English. I use English hand gestures, expressions, slang and swear words. I occasionally slip into an English accent. Sometimes, I think I was born and raised in the wrong country.

I believe a lot in fate and destiny. I think that there's a reason for almost everything, especially why certain things happen, where you go in life, and why certain people meet.

I subscribe to the philosophy of existentialism. I believe that every person has the right to do whatever they want to, but they also have the right to whatever consequences may result from their actions.

I really like to call people by pet names. Dear, love, darling, baby, babe, cutieface, doll, and dollface are some of my favorites. So, don't get weirded out or anything if I call you one of those things because that's just what I do.

I figdet a good deal.

I don't attend college and I don't believe that I ever will. I think that education is one of the greatest things in the world. It's one of the only things that nobody can ever take away from you. However, I don't need any piece of paper to validate my intelligence. I will continue to learn for the rest of my life by reading, writing, traveling, listening, observing, and living.
